How this calculator works
BTC quantity is displayed to eight decimal places. Position exposure = initial margin × leverage. BTC quantity = position exposure ÷ entry price.
For a long, gross P&L = BTC quantity × (exit − entry). For a short, gross P&L = BTC quantity × (entry − exit). Each fee uses the position notional at that fill. Net P&L subtracts both fees and the holding cost you enter.
Return on initial margin = net P&L ÷ initial margin × 100. Price change describes Bitcoin’s price movement, regardless of the trade direction.
These are linear BTC/USD scenarios in USD, not inverse or coin-margined contracts. Fee rates, margin requirements and contract sizing vary by venue. The calculator does not estimate a liquidation price, verify venue limits or guarantee a trade outcome.
